Real or Illusion?
Kurt Wenner, a distinguised master artist, is the inventor of anamorphic or 3D pavement art. Wenner invented a new geometry to create compositions that appear to rise from, or fall into, the ground. Like anamorphic perspective where painted forms appear three-dimensional when viewed from one point in space, Wenner’s geometry corrects the specific distortion caused by viewing large images at an oblique angle. This type of perspective has come to be known as Wenner’s Geometry (https://kurtwenner.com/blog/blog).
It was a privilege to visit a one-of-a-kind museum just 20 minutes from our school in Puerto Aventuras. We have brought our students to this place to appreciate art as well as to have fun inside it!
The 3D Museum of Wonders is the biggest museum all over the world with art works done by a single artist. There are only two of this kind worldwide. It offered amusement to many of our students. The grade 7 kids were much more excited than the older students. They run from one painting to another to take pictures! That's the great thing about this museum, we could take all the pictures we want without any additional cost.
Now, time to enjoy viewing our pictures! : )
